Door gift

As I was saying, Baileys' birthday was great. I'll now show you what we had at the party & a picture of our door gift. This in cantonese is called "Yao sek Yao da bao".

The muffins are so tasty! Even Kaylie has a good time munching on them.

Check out the "door gift"...

As you can see, MaMa is using it for Kaylie. Those black little round things are Kaylie's dry food with milk. How lucky. I love milk but MaMa say its "too rich" for me.

Happy Birthday, Baileys

Today, Baileys' 1 year old!!! Finally! I heard her MaMa (Auntie J) & PaPa (Uncle W) celebrates his birthday every month. He is one lucky dog; I must say.

Introducing Baileys, the birthday boy.

We even get little "door gift" for attending the party. I'll get PaPa to take a couple of good pictures of it tomorrow.

The sleeping process

MaMa offered my "old bed", which was passed down from Mikki & Mikko, to Kaylie. That bitch is so unappreciative, she didn't even bother with it. She rather sleep on the floor or the newspaper (her piss spot).

It is time to set the record straight. Jaffe don't share; period. Anything; anything at all. If it is mine, it shall remain mine forever. And so, I decided to take my afternoon nap in it although I clearly can't fit into it comfortably anymore.

FAQ

MaMa received a few calls from friends asking questions about our new member. It ranges from what breed, how old, how much, how to pronounce the name, how you got the name & why another dog now. There are also statements like, Oh... she is soooo cute, she is soooo tiny, she doesn't look abit like Jaffe & of 'cos, she looks just like Jaffe when he was young.

Let's begin with the last 2 statements. What do you think?
We came from the same mother but different father. Does that make her my step-sister? Evil step-sister?

After a couple of days & some encouragement from MaMa, I decided to "officially meet" this little sister of mine. She was trying a new move she learned but she needs alot of practice.

Moving backwards (with the questions & statements)... She is tiny. She is cute. PaPa wants his own dog. The name is random & trust me, it will be different by end of next week cos PaPa loves changing name for us. For the record, MaMa named me something else & PaPa decided that Jaffe suits me better. Sorry, its hard not to talk about myself since it is my blog. Anyway, her "temporary" name is pronounce as "K-ly". PaPa paid $50 more for her compared to me. She was born on 26th July 2006 & last but not least, she is a PRT.

Piss & pissed

Where do I begin...

The whole of last night & this morning, PaPa & MaMa have been fussing over Kaylie. Snap shots, feeding, mopping, mopping & more mopping...

One moment she was sleeping...
and she'll just wake up & start pissing on the spot before you can say "hi"!!!

Then she goes to take a sip of water, then she pisses AGAIN within 5mins. I swear, MaMa & PaPa were fuming mad but they helped each other to hold it together.

All this attention on this little girl is making me feel depressed.

My fate is sealed...

Ladies & gentleman, dogs & bitches. I introduce you to my new baby sister, Kaylie...

She is quite cool, for now. I hope she doesn't turn into one bitchy thing. I followed her around & tried to "dominate" her whenever I can.

Both PaPa & MaMa introduced her to my kitty sisters, didn't quite turn out well 'cos Kaylie end up with a couple of "swaps" from Kayo. The other went into hiding, missed dinner & is pissed.

Anyways, I'm sure it'll work out somehow in the end.

MaMa can't stop snapping pictures of her cos she says Kaylie won't stay puppy forever. And so, here's more pictures of her...

I'm getting a little tired following her around. I need my nap now...

A life changing decision...

Some of you may know that my PaPa has been whining about getting "his own dog" for the longest time. You see, I'm really a MaMa's boy. I won't go into details about the sacrifices MaMa made for me so far; but in short - A LOT OF SACRIFICES.

Oops, I digress...

There is a new litter of PRTs available. 1 male, 3 females. PaPa sort of knows which one he wants but he will decide after they finally meet.

Each time I see the puppy pictures, I have anxiety attacks. I need a venue to release my tension. If I post their pictures here, will I conquer my fear?

So anyway, here they are...

(Top left - male, Top right - female 1, Bottom left - female 2, Bottom right - female 3)

Don't they all look mighty cute?! I need some help from all you "good doggie" out there. Can you tell PaPa which puppy he should get as my sibling?

A kitty call Mosi

My MaMa had asked for me to dedicate this post to a new "friend" she met last Sunday. She is a kitten, Mosi is her name. Mosi is a fiesty little one. She managed to give MaMa a small little "line" on her finger.
Who would think, by looking at the above picture, that this cute little angel is capable of anything remotely "catty".

MaMa says, to be fair, Mosi was absolutely traumatised by all the sudden attention from a million people trying to stroke her, carry her, play with her... Trust me, I would be putting "holes" on fingers if I was in her shoes. Oh wait, me in shoes??? I think it's more like shoes in my mouth... hahaha... Ok, not funny...

Double tagged...

A new tagging game surfaced. I thought by laying low for a period of time, the "wave" will just pass me by. BUT NO!!! I'm now Double Tagged. First by Butchy & Snickers then by Scuba. Almost tripple tagged by Bear but phew...

K, I have to list 5 things that make for a true doggie friend then I go on & tag 5 others. Now, true doggie friends to other doggie friends or true doggie friends to human friends. I think I may do a little of both. I may need to use some "old pictures" to illustrate my point so pls bare with me if you have seen the pictures before.

1. Spend quality time even if you are worlds apart & don't share the same "values" most of the time...
2. Always be ready for a game of Tug-of-war although it may ruin your favourite toy...
3. "Rescue" your friend from the garlic bagel that he doesn't like...
4. Leave your favourite cherry tomatoes for your PaPa & MaMa cos they usually do the same for you...
5. Support the same team as your PaPa & MaMa although all you care about is the beer & peanuts during the game...

Ok, I will now go tag Ms Sunshade, Groovy, Millie, Mikki and last but not least Chelsea.

Too fast too furious 4 - Dog Run....

Went to the Dog Run this evening. Was there from 6.30pm - 8.15pm. I ran & ran & ran.
I had all this energy to release. I think, subconsciously, I'm training, I'm getting ready for the coming of Bear. I went so fast even a shutter speed of 1/250 sec couldn't get a good shot of me!

I read from Bear's blog that he is now a whopping 9.6kg. 2 weeks ago, he was 7kg. He is growing too fast, too furious for my liking.

After the park, dinner & shower, MaMa give me one half of the deer tendon. I spent 1 hour chewing on it while I recall the time when Bear was the same size as me.
I wonder for how many more weeks can I continue to do this to him before I...

have to start hiding from him?!

I love Aunty G & I love MaMa

This morning, MaMa received an sms from Anuty G saying she will be getting some deer tendons for her J&J. Without any hesitation, MaMa ordered for 1kg.

We went to the park, met with Aunty G & picked up 2 big bags of tendons...

This has to be one of the happiest days of my life. So many tendons, big 9" long tendons. Yummy, absolutely amazing.

Thank you Aunty G for carrying them from the shop to the car & from the car to the park. Thank you MaMa for spending your precious "weekly allowance" on my treats. Big wet licks for both of you...

Berry Crazy...

MaMa is getting Berry Crazy. First, she came home with a bunch of berry looking things on her ears.
Today she came home with more berries; strawberries on her feet!!!
She has a wedding dinner to attend tomorrow evening @ the Shangri-La Sentosa. What is she thinking; painting these cutsie things on her feet?!

PaPa freaked out but she convinced him that nobody will pay attention to her feet. She made sure her Manicure were "normal" for this event.

So there you go, my MaMa; who doesn't give a rats ass what people think but will still try to "balance" her wierdness.

Getting ready

I heard the Rottie that was roaming the park had to be taken for a jab. He will be feeling pretty lousy for the next couple of days. This is a good chance for me to practise a few moves for our "next meet".

For a start, I need a dummy. Since Rottie is called Bear, I have just the right "candidate". Ladies & gentleman, I present to you - Bear...
Alright, alright, I know this Bear is far from the Bear we are talking about but in the real world we improvise. I have limited resources; people.

Let's stay focused. The point is to practise some moves & here are my proposed tactics.
Cool eh?! I think I'm more than ready for this monster Bear even though my 2 sisters give me the "I'm not too impressed" look.

Rottweiler at large!!!

After reading Herbie's blog, my trip to the park is less "simple" now. A Rottweiler has taken Herbie down. He may be smaller than Herbie at this stage but he is slightly bigger than me. I hear these things grow as fast as inflating a baloon.

It is a sunny day and so we make a trip down to the dog run. While hanging out, I keep an eye for the said Rottie. You'll never know when & where it will appear...

Before we know it, a series of attacks begin...

I can't let my buddies suffer under the paws of this intruder. I will put on a good fight for the good of all my pals. It proves to be quite a challenge at first but eventually, the victory is mine...
